  • 2-3 Complimentary Food Tables

  • Complimentary Black Folding Chairs (up to 80)

  • Free Wi-Fi

  • Bluetooth Sound System (if needed)

  • Outside Catering is allowed

  • Outside Decorations & Decor is allowed

  • All Packages & times must have the set up and breakdown time of the event included within booking time frame

 When choosing your package, be sure to include enough time for setup and breakdown/clean-up.  Due to scheduling, entry to the event space is not allowed until the start time of hours booked.

MUST HAVES

  • Date Retainer - $300 secures your event date and is applied to your total cost.

Non-Refundable

  • Events booked less than 3 weeks before event date require full payment

​

​

  • Refundable Incidental Fee - $200 (Fee refunded within 24 hours provided no contract violations or damage to event space.)

This fee will be automatically included on your invoice and total cost

  • Security - $150 (1 armed security guard) 

City of Chicago mandated and required

for ALL events starting 6pm and after

AND/OR to Room 85 Venue's discretion/Nature of event

​

  • $300 (2 armed security guards) 

City of Chicago mandated and required

for ALL events over 60 guests count

AND/OR all events ending after 11pm

AND/OR to Room 85 Venue's discretion/Nature of event

This Security fee will be Automatically Included if it applies to your event request. 

Venue will only use their partnered contracted security company.

All reschedule event request will incur a $200 reschedule fee.

 

If Room 85 Venue must cancel your event, Room 85 Venue will provide immediate notice. You may exercise the option to apply your retainer to a future date or be fully refunded for any payments made within 10 business days of cancelation.

RESERVATIONS

To reserve the venue for your date/time, a non-refundable $300 retainer is required at time of booking. Your date is not secured until retainer has been paid. Retainer is applied towards total cost of venue rental. The remaining balance will be due three weeks (21 calendar days) prior to your event or risk forfeiture of retainer per cancellation policy. If booking takes place within 21 days of event, event MUST be paid in full at time of booking.

 

All bookings are subject to a $200 refundable incidental fee. (Refundable assuming no damages or contract violations.) 

 

Pricing INCLUDES set-up and clean up time. Plan adequate time for table, chair and décor set up before event, vendor deliveries/pickups, breakdown and clean-up after your event.

 

  • Reservation times include the set-up and clean-up of your event. Functions and festivities are expected to end at least 30 mins -1 hour prior to the contract end time to allow for clean-up. 

  • If additional time is needed for extra set-up and/or clean-up, please select the appropriate block of hours that allows for the needed time with your selected booking time frame. 

  • Due to event scheduling, early entry is not permitted prior to time booked.

*Vendors of your choice for catering, event planning and décor are welcome. Inquire with Room 85 for beverage details.

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

All payments are final and no refunds will be processed.
